The Future of Hadoop
A Session with Doug Cutting, Hadoop Co-Founder
Friday, January 13, 2017 | 1:00PM - 3:00PM
Ally and Cloudera invite you to spend an afternoon with the co-creator of Hadoop, Doug Cutting.
Like Ally, many companies are on their Big Data Journeys! It is a time to reflect on where we started but more importantly, explore the future of Hadoop. Doug Cutting, in addition to being a co-creator of Hadoop, is a Chief Architect at Cloudera. In 2017, Hadoop will be 11 years young. In this session, Doug will speak about the reasons for Hadoop's success, the lessons for other open source projects (and data management technology overall), and Hadoop's likely significant impact on modern data management (and the people who benefit from it) over the next decade.
