We support Hadoop whether you run our distribution on servers in your own data center, or on hosted infrastructure services such as Amazon EC2, Rackspace, SoftLayer, or VMware’s vCloud.

Cloudera Support

Cloudera offers enterprise support for clusters running Cloudera’s Distribution for Hadoop and is included in Cloudera Enterprise. Our support packages include:

  • Access to our online knowledge base and support portal
  • Email access to our support team for operational problems with your Hadoop cluster
  • Problem isolation, triage, and resolution, subject to a service-level agreement tailored to meet mission-critical production requirements

Our highly trained support team is backed by our engineering organization, which includes contributors and committers to the various open-source packages that are part of Cloudera’s Distribution for Hadoop (CDH). When we deliver a patch or workaround for the open-source code to a support customer, we also prepare and submit the fix to the appropriate project. This ensures the Apache project will include the fix to your specific problem in a future release. Of course we also include these critical fixes in subsequent releases of our own CDH.
