Jamie Engesser


Jamie Engesser is the Senior Vice President of Field Specialists at Cloudera. With more than twenty years of professional experience in the software industry, Jamie most recently had responsibility for Hortonwork’s product portfolio as SVP, Product Management. Prior to that, Jamie came from our field with global responsibility for Hortonworks Solutions Engineering organization which is focused on guiding organizations to identify their Enterprise Data opportunity from Business Case, to Proof of Concept, to successful Project Delivery. Before Hortonworks, Jamie led Global Solutions Engineering teams at SpringSource and VMware. Jamie has extensive experience spanning Open Source, Streaming Platforms, Analytics, Platform as a Service (PaaS), Application Infrastructure and Big Data. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Montana State University.

Ashish Narashimham


Ashish Narasimham is a Solutions Architect based out of Atlanta, GA with a background in software consulting and product management. Prior to Cloudera, he was working as a front-end, back-end, and full-stack software engineer throughout his last job consulting at Daugherty Business Solutions so he knows his way around the stack. He loves talking tech and has worked on many projects in the Hadoop ecosystem across the various technologies, specializing in cloud.

Raman Rajasekhar


Raman is a product manager on Cloudera’s Data Warehouse product team, specializing in building machine learning, predictive analytics, and data management products. He has a passion for creating and implementing high-performance algorithms for massively parallel processing and big data platforms. Raman has more than 15 years of international experience in R&D, product development, data science and machine learning, and engineering, with a deep understanding of healthcare, financial, and high-tech manufacturing domains.

Brendan McKenna


Brendan McKenna is a Strategic Solutions Engineer at Cloudera, specializing in Machine Learning and Enterprise Data Science. Previously, he was a founding partner and head of business at Bots Alive, an artificial intelligence startup spun out of the MIT Media Lab. Before that, Brendan was a Solutions Consultant at Oracle and Innovation Analyst in the office of the Chief Evangelist at Pegasystems. He studied Computer Science and Business Administration at Endicott College.
