Amr Awadallah, Ph.D.


Before co-founding Cloudera in 2008, Amr was an entrepreneur-in-residence at Accel Partners. Prior to joining Accel, he served as vice president of product intelligence engineering at Yahoo! and ran one of the very first organizations to use Hadoop for data analysis and business intelligence. Amr joined Yahoo! after they acquired his first startup, VivaSmart, in July 2000. Amr holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, and a doctorate in electrical engineering from Stanford University.

Jeff Kibler


Jeff Kibler serves as Cloudera’s Solution Engineering Manager for the Mid-Atlantic U.S. Jeff dedicates his work to building technologies that tear down communication barriers between people. Jeff believes that data technologies provide elegant paths to solving complicated communication challenges. Serving as a solutions engineering leader for ten years, Jeff started his big data journey in the late 2000s at Yahoo! with the introduction of the infant Hadoop on its massive audience data pipeline. In his copious free time, Jeff enjoys trivia, history, and politics and feverishly tries to encourage his three young daughters to be as excited. Jeff lives in Indianapolis. He holds two degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign: a bachelor of computer science and a master in business administration.

Raman Rajasekhar


Raman is a product manager on Cloudera’s Data Warehouse product team, specializing in building machine learning, predictive analytics, and data management products. He has a passion for creating and implementing high-performance algorithms for massively parallel processing and big data platforms. Raman has more than 15 years of international experience in R&D, product development, data science and machine learning, and engineering, with a deep understanding of healthcare, financial, and high-tech manufacturing domains.

Justin Norman


Justin leads Cloudera's Fast Forward Labs team. Justin is a career data professional and Data Science leader with experience in multiple industries and companies. Previously, Justin was the head of Applied Machine Learning at Fitbit, the head of Cisco’s Enterprise Data Science Office and a Big Data Systems Engineer with Booz Allen Hamilton after serving as a Marine Corps Officer, with a focus in Systems Analytics and Device Intelligence. Justin is a graduate of the US Naval Academy with a degree in Computer Science and the University of Southern California with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Business Analytics.
