Amr Awadallah, Ph.D.


Before co-founding Cloudera in 2008, Amr was an entrepreneur-in-residence at Accel Partners. Prior to joining Accel, he served as vice president of product intelligence engineering at Yahoo! and ran one of the very first organizations to use Hadoop for data analysis and business intelligence. Amr joined Yahoo! after they acquired his first startup, VivaSmart, in July 2000. Amr holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, and a doctorate in electrical engineering from Stanford University.

Dinesh Chandrasekhar is a technology evangelist, a thought leader and a seasoned product marketer with over 24+ years of industry experience. He has an impressive track record of taking new integration/mobile/IoT/Big Data products to market with a clear GTM strategy of pre-and-post launch activities. He has extensive experience working on enterprise software as well as SaaS products delivering sophisticated solutions for customers with complex architectures. His areas of expertise include IoT, Application/Data integration, BPM, Analytics, B2B, API management, Microservices and Mobility. He can articulate detailed use cases across multiple industry verticals like retail, manufacturing, utilities and healthcare. He is a prolific speaker, blogger and a weekend coder. He currently works at Cloudera, managing their Data-in-Motion product line. He is fascinated about new technology trends including blockchain and deep learning.

Michael Gregory leads the field team for machine learning at Cloudera helping organizations derive business value from machine learning. Michael has more than 20 years of experience building, selling, implementing, and supporting large-scale data management solutions at Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Teradata, and Hortonworks and has seen and evangelized the power of data to transform organizations and industries from automotive to telco and public sector to manufacturing.

Anupam Singh


Anupam Singh is the Head of Data Management at Cloudera. Before that, he was the co-founder of 2 data management companies - (acquired by Cloudera), and JovianData (acquired by MarketShare). He has over 12 years of experience in database query processing teams at Oracle, Sybase (now SAP) and Informix (now IBM). As part of the Oracle query optimizer team, he worked on automatic detection and the tuning of SQL query performance issues. At Sybase, Anupam founded the XML database effort. Anupam has patents and publications in the area of query processing. He graduated from Pune University in India.
