Vikram Makhija is General Manager for the Data in Motion business responsible for Cloudera’s stream processing products enabling enterprise customers to deliver key edge and data movement applications. He has 20 years of experience in various leadership capacities at enterprise focused data and infrastructure companies. Prior to joining Cloudera, Vikram served as Vice President, Business Intelligence Cloud at Oracle running cloud services enabling thousands of enterprise customers to bridge their on-premise analytics to the cloud. Previous to Oracle he led all product functions at Ayasdi - an advanced machine learning platform service. Earlier in his career he held various leadership positions at VMware where he drove competitive strategy and product features from the earliest releases of the flagship vSphere product line. Vikram is an advisor and investor in various startups, has six granted patents and hold a Bachelors and Masters degrees in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley and Stanford University.

Dinesh Chandrasekhar is a technology evangelist, a thought leader and a seasoned product marketer with over 24+ years of industry experience. He has an impressive track record of taking new integration/mobile/IoT/Big Data products to market with a clear GTM strategy of pre-and-post launch activities. Dinesh has extensive experience working on enterprise software as well as SaaS products delivering sophisticated solutions for customers with complex architectures. As a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, he has been the champion for Digital Transformation at companies like Software AG, CA Technologies and IBM. Dinesh’s areas of expertise include IoT, Application/Data integration, BPM, Analytics, B2B, API management, Microservices and Mobility. He is proficient in use cases across multiple industry verticals like retail, manufacturing, utilities and healthcare. He is a prolific speaker, blogger and a weekend coder. He currently works at Cloudera, managing their Data-in-Motion product line. He is fascinated about new technology trends including blockchain and deep learning. George Vetticaden is Vice President of Product Management for the Data-In-Motion (DIM) business unit at Cloudera. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic vision and concerted delivery across all the products within the Cloudera Data Flow (CDF) product suite including Cloudera Edge Data Management (CEM) powered by MiNifi and Edge Flow Manager (EFM), Cloudera Flow Management (CFM) powered by Apache NiFi, and Cloudera Stream Processing (CSP) powered by Kafka, Spark Streaming and Streams Messaging Manager(SMM). Over the last 7 years at Cloudera and Hortonworks, George has spent considerable time in the field helping enterprises build a scalable, real-time streaming data applications that collects, curates, and analyzes data so customers gain key insights for immediate actionable intelligence. In his previous role, George was the Director of Solutions Engineering where he led a team of 15 big data senior solution architects helping large enterprise customers with use case inception, design, architecture, to implementation of use cases monetizing data with Hadoop. In addition, he is also a committer on the Apache Metron project. George graduated from Trinity University with a BA in Computer Science. As the Product Manager for Data Flow at Cloudera, Jeremy is responsible for overseeing CFM and CEM product development. This involves ensuring enterprises data flow strategies are sound from the edge to the cloud. Jeremy is also an Apache NiFi PMC member and enjoys getting in the weeds when time permits. Dan Chaffelson

Through a decade of virtualization and launching two startups, Dan has been nerdy on three continents and in every line of business from UK bulge bracket banking to Australian desert public services. After being impressed by the Hortonworks commitment to Open Source and integrated Hadoop implementation in his last startup, he came onboard and automated presenting the corporate sales pitch using the company’s technology in his first week, in the following years he’s taken on being the Streaming SME for the EMEA region and TAM on key accounts, contributing a Python client for Apache NiFi, and leading the Field Engineering effort to fully automate the company Demo estate. Now in Cloudera, Dan now leads a global team of specialist Field Engineers for the Data In Motion team based out of London, UK.

Tim Spann was a Senior Solutions Architect at AirisData working with Apache Spark and Machine Learning. Previously he was a Senior Software Engineer at SecurityScorecard ("http://securityscorecard.com/) helping to build a reactive platform for monitoring real-time 3rd party vendor security risk in Java and Scala. Before that, he was a Senior Field Engineer for Pivotal focusing on CloudFoundry, HAWQ, and Big Data.
