Wim Stoop is the senior product marketing manager for Cloudera. In this role, he leads the marketing direction and strategic vision for Cloudera’s mission to let organizations turn data into business value at scale. Prior to Cloudera, Wim spent more than 17 years helping blue-chip companies such as BP, HSBC, and Lufthansa solve their most data-intensive challenges in the context of their business objectives and usage scenarios. Wim is a regular speaker at industry events where organizations are deciding and defining their big data strategy and direction. Wim holds a degree in Chemical Process Technology from the Eindhoven University of Technology in The Netherlands.

Daniel Parton, Bardess

Daniel Parton is an experienced lead data scientist with a background in academia and industry. Parton has a Ph.D. in computational biochemistry from the University of Oxford, where he used supercomputers to simulate proteins involved in cancer and to find drug molecules for effective treatment. After completing his Ph.D., Parton continued his research at the University of Chicago and Sloan Kettering in New York. Next, Parton moved into the private sector, joining the data science team at Omnicom, a marketing holdings company. At Omnicom, Parton created models that generated tremendous impact for his clients using the same techniques he had honed in academia. Now, Parton is lead data scientist for the Bardess Group where he provides clients with real business insights and advantages while continuing his technical work.

Philip Duplisey is a seasoned technology professional with hands-on experience implementing enterprise-wide solutions globally for Fortune 500 companies. His experience includes ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), SCM (Supply Chain Management) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solutions, and now is passionately delivering modern analytics solutions for his clients at the Bardess Group. Able to work in various roles, Duplisey has led large, diverse teams in solving technically challenging business problems. Full lifecycle implementations from conceptualizing the solution with CxO level management, designing system functionality in collaboration with SME’s and project stakeholders, to hands-on specification and code development, Duplisey has always delivered pragmatic solutions that balance competing tradeoffs.
