Part 1: Cloudera’s Analytic Database: BI & SQL Analytics in a Hybrid Cloud World

Title: Cloudera’s Analytic Database: BI & SQL Analytics in a Hybrid Cloud World

Speaker:  Alex Gutow

Date & Time: Thursday, February 9th, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. PST

Whether you’re deployed today or just starting to consider it, cloud will likely play a key role in your business’s future. For BI and exploratory analytic workloads in particular, cloud can provide a number of key benefits- on-demand elasticity, cost-savings, and a shared data layer that can extend your insights beyond SQL. But the move to cloud isn’t an all or nothing proposition. In fact Gartner predicts nearly 80% of businesses will adopt a hybrid strategy. So the question is, how do these benefits translate to an increasingly heterogeneous world?

Join us as we discuss how Cloudera’s analytic database solution is powering business-critical workloads in multi-cloud and hybrid environments, enabling companies to ultimately get more value from more data.

This webinar will cover topics including:

  • On-premises versus the cloud: What’s the same and what’s different?
  • Design and benefits of analytics in the cloud
  • Best practices and architectural considerations
  • Price and performance benchmarks versus alternatives
  • What’s next

Please join us on Thursday, February 9th, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. PST.

Part 2: Cloudera’s Operational Database: Unlocking New Benefits in the Cloud

Title: Cloudera’s Operational Database: Unlocking New Benefits in the Cloud

Speakers:  Ryan Lippert and David Tishgart

Date & Time: Thursday, February 16th, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. PST

As organizations cast a wider net to collect more real-time and updating data, they need the flexibility to quickly provision new clusters in the cloud in addition to on-premises. Cloudera’s Operational Database enables you to run a scalable, enterprise-grade platform in any cloud environment, with the ability to move between public clouds and your own datacenter.

Join us as we discuss how Cloudera’s operational database solution is powering better decisions and giving organizations more flexibility in where their data lives.

This webinar will include the following topics:

  • On-premises versus the cloud: What’s the same and what’s different?
  • Design and benefits of real-time operational data in the cloud
  • Best practices and architectural considerations
  • Price and performance benchmarks versus alternatives
  • What’s next

Please join us on Thursday, February 16th, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. PST.

Part 3: Data Engineering: Elastic, Low-Cost Data Processing in the Cloud

Title: Data Engineering: Elastic, Low-Cost Data Processing in the Cloud

Speaker:  David Tishgart

Date & Time: Thursday, March 2, 2017, 10:00 a.m. PST

Data processing workloads are a natural fit for the public cloud. Their transient operation and periodic run-time allow for added flexibility in scheduling and infrastructure choice. Coupled with the on-demand nature of the cloud users are designing lean and effective environments that both meet the needs of their workload and save them time and money.

Join us as we discuss how Cloudera’s data engineering and data science solution allows you to leverage the right environment, at the right time.

This webinar will include the following topics:

  • On-premises versus the cloud: What’s the same and what’s different?
  • Benefits of data processing in the cloud
  • Best practices and architectural considerations
  • What’s next
