    You can download and try Cloudera’s Distribution for Hadoop packaged as a virtual machine, which allows you to learn about the system, experiment with it, and even build analytical applications that run on a desktop or laptop computer. This CDH VM package includes all the tools and features in Cloudera’s Distribution for Hadoop, but does not require a physical cluster of servers.

    You may run a development, test or production cluster of Cloudera’s Distribution for Hadoop on Amazon Web Services. This package installs easily on Amazon Web Services’ Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) system, and supports data storage in either the Simple Storage System (S3) or Elastic Block Store (EBS) services of AWS. It includes all the features and tools in Cloudera’s Distribution for Hadoop.
