We worked closely with the HBase team and they packaged HBase and we host those packages. The HBase guys are working on debs and when they are finished we will host those as well. Great news!, exactly what I was looking for.

I have installed Hadoop 0.20 using CDH2 last week; and this is the command I used to install it using yum.

yum install hadoop-0.20

Do I install this on all nodes on the cluster? or Just a new machine for the cluser?
