As Cloudera’s new Chief Product Officer, I am excited to lead the evolution of our data and analytics platform. My mission is to ensure Cloudera delivers actionable insight beyond our customers’ AI-powered data lakes, making us the preferred choice for organizations seeking a trusted data concierge to execute on their strategy.
I joined Cloudera because the opportunity for all of us has never been greater – and this is speaking not only as a Cloudera executive but also as a former customer and a technology partner.
We’re witnessing the “datafication” of every corporation - where data, and, specifically, its untapped insights will become every company’s most valuable asset.
AI has every organization rethinking the concept of the cloud as a business model beyond a compute model. This is paving the way for Cloudera and our partners to repatriate workloads and create unified data estates that straddle multi-cloud and hybrid cloud form factors. Roughly half of the world’s data will continue to be generated on-premises and LLM’s cost-effective operations will be run on-premises instead of on public clouds. Regardless of where our customers need to run their analytics and AI - today and in the future - Cloudera is the only true hybrid data platform that will be there with our partners every step of the way to ensure their success.
Here’s to what promises to be our most successful year together. I look forward to meeting many of you in the coming months, collaborating to prioritize our deliverables, and capitalize on this incredible market opportunity.
