Chief Executive Officer Charles Sansbury has more than 20 years experience in strategic, financial, and operational leadership roles across the software industry. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of enterprise IT management software provider ASG Technologies from 2015 until its 2021 sale to Rocket Software. Prior to that, Charles was COO and CFO of software holding company The Attachmate Group from 2006 until its acquisition by MicroFocus in 2014 as well as CFO of Vignette from 2001 until 2006. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Georgetown University and a master of business administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

As chief strategy officer, Abhas leads the overall corporate strategy for Cloudera and is responsible for creating the company vision, building the business and customer target operating model, communicating that with key stakeholders via clearly defined OKRs, and executing key transformational initiatives to realize that plan. He’s also tasked with driving growth and innovation and making appropriate build/buy partner decisions, including pricing and packaging, corporate development, and Cloudera’s innovation accelerator to launch new products. Previously, he served as chief of staff and vice president for business transformation at the company. Prior to the Cloudera/Hortonworks merger, he helped scale Hortonworks’ go-to-market efforts as global head of customer innovation and value management. A management consultant by training, he is passionate about driving action and change in the society and has led projects with multiple organizations including the World Economic Forum, Founders of the Future, and other nonprofits.

Chief Product Officer Leo Brunnick has more than 30 years of experience leading high-performing technology teams. He leads Cloudera’s overall product and technology direction with an emphasis on customer success. Prior to Cloudera, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at Naviga, a software provider for content development in media, where he led a team of more than 600 product, marketing, engineering, and customer support professionals. Previously, Leo held several executive positions at Vignette–including Executive Vice President of Engineering, Chief Product Officer, and Chief Marketing Officer at Vignette–until its sale to OpenText in 2008. Leo served as an officer in the Marine Corps and received his bachelor’s degree in general engineering from Harvard University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgia State University.

Matt leads the software research and advisory for the Analytics and Data expertise at Ventana Research, now part of ISG, covering software that improves the utilization of information across business and IT. His focus areas of coverage include analytics, data intelligence, data operations, data platforms, and streaming data and events. Matt’s specialization is in the operational and analytical use of data and use of AI where enterprises can modernize their approaches to accelerate the value realization of technology investments in support of hybrid and multi-cloud architecture. Matt has been an industry analyst for more than a decade and has pioneered the coverage of emerging data platforms including NoSQL and NewSQL databases, data lakes, and cloud-based data processing. He is a graduate of Bournemouth University.

Alexandra is an experienced international lawyer and works as Cloudera's VP of Legal in our EMEA region, having worked for Cloudera for 4 years. She is a highly accomplished leader, General Counsel, Company Secretary and lawyer with over 25 years of experience specializing in the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sectors. Alexandra has a distinguished background in negotiating high value global deals and managing teams of lawyers and legal professionals, consistently delivering exceptional results in complex legal environments in a trusted manner. Alexandra's expertise encompasses a broad range of legal areas within TMT, including employment, restructuring, M&A, divestitures, integrations, corporate governance and compliance. She is passionate about sustainability, leads Cloudera Sustainability Employee Relations Group (ERG) and is an Assessor on leadership courses at Cambridge University. She continues to foster diverse and inclusive teams, having previously been a member of IBM's Diversity Council. She is someone who enjoys lifelong learning and is spearheading the use of AI within her team. She is a qualified data privacy practitioner and has experience of coaching and mentoring those early in career as well as business leaders and CEOs.Alexandra particularly enjoys the opportunity at Cloudera to utilise AI within the legal team which significantly enhances efficiency with the automation of document reviews, legal research and contract analysis which helps her team to focus on more complex strategic tasks.

Nichola is a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank AC where she leads the Group Architecture team. Her current focus is ensuring that Deutsche Bank has a well-articulated IT Strategy across all business lines and a supporting technology approach. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Nichola has had a varied career starting in consulting then setting up her own company working with clients in Manufacturing, Financial Services and later at the British Red Cross Society driving through transformational change. She has spent the majority of her career in Financial Services delivering technology solutions to achieve business goals and meet regulatory requirements.

Helen has worked within IT transformational change programmes across the public sector for over 20 years and became the Service Director for Technology and Digital Services for West Midlands Police in June 2017. Helen is currently leading West Midland Police through the implementation of their technology strategy ‘Synergy’ which is designed to maximise the benefits of large-scale technical investments, including the adoption of cutting-edge technology across a number of core business areas, focussed around a Big Data Platform. In January 2024 Helen also became the Service Director for Information Management at West Midlands Police; reinforcing her interest in the effective use of data across policing, making improved data accuracy and quality her passion.

Luz Erez, Chief Innovation Officer and Co-Founder, MDClone Engineer and scientist Luz Erez served in a series of firms as CTO, VP Development, and Chief Engineer. Luz specializes in complex data initiatives, including big data projects, unique software and hardware technologies, RFID development, retail infrastructure, and more. He has also served as a member of numerous open-source projects such as IUI and Ghostscript.
