Chandra Aprely leads the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics function at the SMN Group, including iForte as one of its subsidiaries. He focuses on building and strengthening the BI and Data team, implementing big-data platforms, and fostering a data-driven decision-making culture across the company and its subsidiaries. Chandra provides strategic insights to the Board of Directors, identifies critical business processes for performance enhancement, and manages stakeholder coordination for continuous improvement.
Chandra has also served as an Expert in Data Analytics Labs for an eCommerce project and as a Data Analytics Instructor at RevoU, significantly contributing to developing next-generation analytics skills.
With leadership roles at Indosat Ooredoo and Smartfren, Chandra has consistently delivered actionable insights and strategic recommendations, leveraging big data to drive business success.
Earlier in his career, Chandra worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), specializing in auditing and advisory services for major telecommunications clients and leading Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance audits. This experience provided a solid foundation for his subsequent leadership roles in data analytics and business intelligence.

Arifin serves as the Director of the Application Development Group at Bank Indonesia, leads the institution's digital transformation. His role primarily involves the development and enhancement of existing Legacy Applications to ensure seamless business continuity. Adrien is a seasoned leader in data science and artificial intelligence, with a hands-on approach to his work. He is currently Head of Data Science for OCBC leading 40+ Data Scientists building AI solutions. In his current position, he oversees the development of AI and Generative AI. Since he started, OCBC has embarked on more than 20 GenAI use cases in production. He began his career as a quant, utilizing his analytical skills to solve complex problems in the financial sector and then transitioned into leadership roles in data science and AI at renowned tech institutions such as Gojek or Twitter.

Hans Christian is a Data Scientist currently leading the team at PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. Hans holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning and Big Data, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from Bina Nusantara University, both awarded with the highest honors.
In his current role, Hans specializes in leading projects related to Customer Analytics and Fraud Analytics, covering Sales Strategy, Retention Strategy, Service Strategy, and Mitigation Strategy within the banking business processes. Hans was the first developer to implement the Near RealTime Fraud Prediction system in the company and contributed as the project leader for developing the AutoML library at BCA, which promotes ML developer citizenship within the company by enabling more efficient and accessible machine learning model creation.

Through her expertise, she drove Globe to be #1 in Mobile Data which wasinstrumental in Globe Mobile's claim to being the industry leader. Her work on Free FB helpedjump start the digital journey of FIlipinos, followed by introduction of GoSurf, Surf4All, andData As Currency.
In 2014, she led the Customer Analytics, Market Research & Portfolio Management sectorwhere she aided brands and business groups in Globe to understand the Filipino customer.Her research findings birthed new mobile data products, offers, and experiences tailored tothe Filipinos.
By 2020, her role and mandate was expanded to drive customer lifetime value with stints inCLM and Marketing Communications. In 2021, her insighting and governance role hasexpanded to include Commercial Strategy and integration of other strategic services forGlobe's business units.
In 2022, she had a stint as head of Product Group leading the creation of products,experiences and innovations that will uplift the lives of the Filipinos.
In 2023, her role expanded to now include Enterprise Data office. With commercial strategy,enterprise data, customer analytics, market research, portfolio and device managementunder her scope, she is now tasked to build a data driven culture and make data asustained competitive advantage for Globe.

Fredric is the Head of Customer Success & COO of the Enterprise Data Platform at DBS Bank where he ensures that the platform meets the exacting and constantly evolving needs of the thousands of data professional across the bank that use it daily.
Fredric has over 24 years of experience in banking and has been leading DBS’ data transformation journey since he joined in 2013, building its first team of data scientists and launching data analytics driven initiatives like the consumer bank’s flagship Contextual Marketing Program which today delivers hundreds of millions in revenue.
As Program Director of DataFirst the enterprise-wide transformation program over 2018 - 23, his strategic vision, leadership and execution were pivotal to the people, process and technology revolution that enabled DBS to successfully industrialise AI and become an ‘AI Fuelled’ Bank where hundreds of advanced analytics use cases have benefited millions of customers and driven close to a billion dollars of cumulative business impact to date. Fredric’s professional interests are at the intersection of business development, customer impact, data analytics and AI. He retains a deep interest in physics and technology from his university days and his leisure time is usually spent trying to keep up with latest developments in this space.

With over a decade of experience in driving the adoption of enterprise AI solutions in the region, Dr. Deb is dedicated to nurturing the developer ecosystem throughout their AI endeavors.
Prior to his tenure at Nvidia, Dr. Deb held influential positions tackling complex AI challenges across diverse sectors in the APAC region, including Media, eCommerce, AdTech, Telco/Oil & Gas industries.
Dr. Goswami earned his PhD in Face Recognition from the University of Surrey, complementing his academic journey with a BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering from the same institution. His academic background underscores his profound understanding of AI technologies and their practical applications across industries.

Dr. David R. Hardoon is the Chief Executive Officer of Aboitiz Data Innovation. Concurrently, David serves as Senior Advisor for Data and AI at Union Bank of the Philippines and Advisory Board member at Connected Women.
Prior to his current roles, David was the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)’s first appointed Chief Data Officer and Head of Data Analytics Group reporting to the agency’s Deputy Managing Director for Financial Supervision and subsequently Special Advisor for Artificial Intelligence reporting to Deputy Managing Director for Markets and Development. In these roles, he led the development of the AI strategy both for MAS and Singapore’s financial sector as well as driving efforts in promoting open cross-border data flows.
David holds a PhD in Computer Science in the field of Machine Learning from the University of Southampton and graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with First Class Honors B.Sc. in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.

I joined the Japan Research Institute in 2002 as a new graduate. Since then, I have been involved in system development for credit card companies for 22 years. For much of that time, I have developed systems that meet the very stringent non-functional requirements of society's payment infrastructure. My relationship with Cloudera started in 2020. In the four years since then, I have learnt a lot from the community. I am very attracted to the use of data in finance.

Okuda-san joined LINE Corporation as a new graduate in 2013, and since 2023, following the company merger, has been with LY Corporation. Currently, he is serving as a Senior Engineering Manager in the IU Data Connect department. His team’s mission is to build a robust and high-performance self-service streaming/batch pipeline platform using Flink, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Elastic-search, Kubernetes, and Iceberg within the data analytics environment known as “IU (Information Universe).” Additionally, they’re aiming to accelerate LY’s business with data by providing these capabilities stably to internal users.

Kurnia Sofia Rosyada is the Group Head of Enterprise Data Analytics (EDA) at PT Bank Mandiri Tbk. She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from ITB and an MSc in Global Innovation Management from the University of Strathclyde and Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH).
In her role as Group Head, Kurnia leads multiple departments, including Data Management, Data Governance, Campaign Management, Wholesale Banking Analytics, and Retail Banking Analytics. During her tenure, she has spearheaded numerous initiatives, such as leading AI-related projects and providing insightful dashboards and reports to business users and the Board of Directors. Under her leadership, EDA has won three awards: Most Innovative Tech at Finance Asia, Data Governance Initiative of the Year and AI & ML Initiative of the Year at the Asian Banking & Finance Awards.

The Information Delivery Department bears extensive responsibilities, ranging from reporting, such as bank performance monitoring and regulatory reports, to providing actionable insights accessible to all levels, from management to executors. This approach cultivates a robust culture of data-driven decision-making.

By employing advanced technologies like Generative AI, we simplify complex data, assisting users in enhancing business productivity, targeting the right customers, and improving margins.
With extensive experience as a data scientist and leader, Satria has the skills required to achieve significant business results. Before transitioning to the financial industry, Satria built analytical frameworks for various sectors, including automotive, media, FMCG, and entertainment.

Russell Spitzer received his Ph.D from UCSF in 2013 after performing a lot of comparisons of protein binding sites. Following that, he became deeply invested in distributed computing and involved in several Apache projects. He became a key contributor to the Spark-Cassandra Connector, and he also worked on both of those (and other) Apache projects. More recently, he has been involved with the Apache Iceberg project and has devoted most of his time to data file management and advancing the table format. Currently, Russell is a PMC member and a committer of the Apache Iceberg project.

Sunghwan is currently responsible for the construction and operation of the Big Data Platform at Kakaopay. The services he manages include Phoenix & HBase for Real-Time Services, Spark, Impala, Iceberg, Kudu for Batch Services, Oozie for Workflow, Ranger for authority management, and Trino for cross-model queries.
As a data platform engineer, he develops and manages management programs using VueJS and SpringBoot to reduce operational resources and improve users' query experience. Additionally, he is actively involved in query optimization and issue resolution.
Before joining Kakaopay, Sunghwan has been serving as a Big Data Platform Engineer at Hyundai Card and LG CNS for 13 years.
