He started his post-academic career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York followed by leading risk and research teams at Citibank, Bankers Trust, JP Morgan and Bank of America. He is the co-founder of a GMAC funded Risk Management & Analytics start-up called Risk Monitors which was acquired by BlackRock, where he was an MD & Partner in the Risk Management Group.

Kaushik is the CTO of Novantas Solutions and is responsible for the technology roadmap and product development of five different SaaS products on a modern, enterprise, federated services-oriented big data platform. Kaushik has over 15 years of experience as a technology architect and seasoned R&D manager of integrated BI/analytical platforms for financial services. He has multiple patents on data architecture, business process workflow automation, and optimization, and is an IEEE published author of forecasting methodologies in financial services and computer networking.
